I’d heard some of the famous lines from Network (1976) many times, such as “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.”
What is scary is how accurate the film was in predicting how attached to the tube we’d become and now brain dead a society we’d become. The current elections and how much weight people put in television campaign ads is evidence of that.
