Apple released the update to iTunes that lets you purchase DRM free music and upgrade your library. The process is a little cryptic however.
When you go to the iTunes Music Store, click on “iTunes Plus” in the top right column. Accept the licensing agreement, then on the iTunes Plus page there will be an Upgrade Library button in the top right corner.
I had 21 songs, from Nora Jones, Lily Allen, KT Tunstall etc, which cost me $6.30 to upgrade.
When Amazon, Microsoft and every other yoho follows suit, just remember who cracked this dam – Apple Inc.
